Thought I would give a quick peak of one of the 3 paintings I’m doing at the moment. I know it’s really early and I’m yet to put a couple of baubles on. But can you guess what it is yet 🤪

After having a lovely busy summer, what better way for it to draw to a close than with thinking of the up coming seasons.

Some of my paintings will remain in the East Coast Gallery until after the Walton arts festival that starts mid Sept and ends at the end of September then they will go on rotation there but still available directly from me 🥰

Over the last couple of weeks I have been thinking about ideas for colder days and reflecting it in my painting. I have a few on the go at the moment but have just finished this winter wreath with berries in oil and acrylic with gold leaf and thought I would share it. Hope everyone is well and had a good summer xx

It’s an amazing feeling to see so many of my paintings in a gallery. Could not be happier right now. The sun is shining, I’m listening to music and planning out a new piece. What a joy August is. Happy Friday everyone 🩷

Tropical Sunflower

Where emerald leaves grow wild and deep,
and warm winds wander through the trees,
a golden sun begins to bloom,
awakening the jungle breeze.

Its petals spill like rays of fire,
bright saffron dancing in the sun,
with touches of burnt orange desire,
each one alive, each one undone.

Around it, palms sway lazily,
while crimson flowers softly climb,
and every leaf holds drops of light,
as though the morning stopped in time.

No ordinary garden flower,
this is a sun that learned to grow—
a little piece of paradise,
where golden petals overflow.

And when the evening starts to fall,
and dusky skies turn violet-blue,
the tropical sunflower still
holds onto a little piece of you Tropical Sunflower

These paintings went off to Eat Coast galleries today. The paintings in the first picture are available to view and buy. The paintings in the second picture have already been sold and will be going off to their new home.

It was such a joy to find out when I got there that another large painting I had recently finished had been sold. I left with such a high hearing how happy the lady was that had bought it.

I feel really grateful to be able to spend my days doing something I love.

The summer is bringing such joy this year, the weather here at the beach is glorious and to be able to spend it with people I love while meeting lots of new interesting people feels like winning life’s lottery.

Much love to all and thank you for following me x

Been a busy few weeks for me, several commissions completed. The Mary and Jesus one that I just completed involved using lots of different mediums and tequniques that were really enjoyable. Hoping to do more like this over the next few months. The new owner is really excited to hang this one and it will be going to their new home today. The sun is shining here on the sunny Essex coast which is just glorious. Hope everyone is happy healthy and enjoying the sun.

Much love x
