Our favourite Autumn craft 🍁 give this one a try!

You will need:

- toilet roll tube (can use kitchen ones but they’re tougher to cut and taller)

- scissors and patience (best to do this part prior to younger kids taking part if you want to spare them the time waiting and watching)

- paint and brush (we used hobby craft paints)

- pva glue

- glitter

- little stars

- little electric candle

Such an easy and cheap craft to do! Make sure you let the paint dry before doing the glue and glitter part!

You can try out different window desings and colour combinations 🎨

At the messy club we are committed to creating a YES environment! Yes, you can get involved, yes you can do that, yes you can get messy!

We understand that children are told no most of the time. They are told to sit, be quiet, don’t touch that, don’t get messy and all of the others no’s.

Apparently a child hears no more than 100 times a day!!

By involving children in even the small things like helping to clean up we offer them a valuable chance to learn! They are actually always eager to get involved in any tasks!

It’s GO GREEN week at the messy club workshops and it’s been such an inspiration so far! 💚

Today we made seed bombs at Braintree and we did some potting at Harlow! We made our own GO GREEN flags listing all the ways we can be kinder to Mother Nature! 🌎

Left some of the kindness rocks out on a little walk this evening! Such a nice thing to do knowing that potentially someone may see it at just the right moment 🙏

The kids really enjoy the process of painting the rocks, coming up with a kind message and then leaving them somewhere to brighten someone’s day, it gives a sense of purpose to a craft activity which makes it much more rewarding to a child. 🙌🏾

Just a quick message to apologise to anyone who has sent us an email or direct message and has had no response yet or a late reply!

We are a small business and one person man’s all the emails and messages, we are a week away from 5 weeks of workshops at 2 locations for 60 children each day!

As you can imagine that’s a lot to organise! So sorry if we have taken our time to get back to you, we are trying our best and as a small organisation it really is quite challenging to keep on-top of the hundreds of messages that we get!
