Soveks Lo interviews rock guitarist and living legend Louis Cennamo. From his early days with Rod Stewart, Chuck Berry, and then travelled the world, playing with iconic bands such as Renaissance, Steamhammer, and Armageddon. Beyond the music his story takes a more personal turn Louis tells us about the pivotal moments that led him away from the fast pace life of a rock guitarist towards a more spiritual reflective life.

Carol Rumens RIP

RIP Carol Rumens, 1944-2026 ❤️

It feels fitting to share this poem from BEZDELKI, a small collection of elegies Carol wrote for her late partner, Yuri Drobyshev, and for which she won the 2018 Michael Marks award. BEZDELKI is a book rooted in the principle that death – even for atheists – isn’t purely loss. Instead, a kind of conversation between two people can be continued through willed acts of memory, whether by rooting through a toolbox or by revisiting well-loved books.

Our thoughts to Carol's family & many loved ones.

Mindful Photography Walk: Mental Health Awareness Week
Saturday 16th May, 3pm - 4:30pm

Step away from the noise of everyday life and into a slower pace at this Mindful Photography Walk, created especially for Mental Health Awareness Week.

Led by a professional photography tutor, this relaxed walk invites you to reconnect with your surroundings through creative photography tasks designed to encourage mindfulness, curiosity, and calm. Along the way, you’ll be guided to notice small details, changing light, textures, and moments you might normally pass by.
There’s no pressure to perform or produce perfect images.

No previous photography experience is needed, and smartphones are just as welcome as cameras. This is about slowing down, breathing, and seeing the world differently.
Whether you’re looking for a creative break, a new way to support your mental wellbeing, or simply some time outdoors, this walk offers space to pause and reconnect.
