Hello wonderful women and mums. I am so looking forward to welcoming you (and your little ones if you have them) to Singing Mamas this Autumn.

Sessions restart next week after what’s, for me, been a very long summer! And whilst it’s been lovely in many ways, it’s also had its challenges. So I’m SO looking forward to a bit of routine, and some singing of songs with other women over tea and cake…

For this Autumn term I have adjusted my prices down as a special welcome to the new academic year, to £8 per 90 minute session for the block*, or £10 if you’re just buying them as hoc or dropping in.

And if you’ve not been before but you’re curious - please do come along! A trial session is just £3, and it is my belief that when you enter the room and you feel your shoulders drop from the warm welcome, you’ll know your courage has been rewarded. And that’s even before the dopamine hit from singing with others happens!

The next Songbirds will be Monday 14th September in the evening st 8pm, at The Meeting Place in Westbourne, PO10 8SP. Would love to see some new faces so please join us ✨ It’s women only and easily accessible three part layered harmonies formed from beautiful lyrics and notes - all taught on the evening with no singing experience needed.

We sang this gorgeous song by on Monday at Songbirds, these are the first two parts… This was me running the next morning feeling lighter and more cup-filled than I had in a long time thanks to singing songs like this with other women.

Singing Mamas this morning, outside with a lovely bunch of women, their kids, and ny own special helpers 🥰 Thanks to Rebecca Byfield-Riches for capturing this moment where I was singing When I Was Young by Tzeb Bishop whilst also trying to distract my daughter from wanting to go on CBeebies Playtime Island! Gotta love the summer holidays 😂🫠🥰

Hello! Just to say on Monday 10th August at Emsworth Songbirds the theme for our singing will be: calming the nervous system, and self-care and love (two very difficult but important things)…

I’ll teach through repetition uplifting and soothing songs with several harmonies woven in. It’s always for the love of singing and never for performance.

No need to introduce yourself, or to even sing if you just need to listen and be around other women. You’ll never be too much or too little - just exactly as you are is perfect. No singing experience needed, or you can have lots, either way you can just show up, grab a cuppa and take a seat*.

We start singing at 8pm and finish at 9pm. Yes it’s late - but it’s only once a month and often very needed medicine!
