LOCUS ⚠️ Groundwork started

Work is underway on preparing sites around da Street for the installation of the first stage of LOCUS, with four sculptures from Civic Soup, Kenny Hunter, Joe Ingleby and David Lemm.

We'll have more news on the way soon - find out more about the project at shetlandarts.org/locus

LOCUS is being delivered by Living Lerwick, in partnership with Shetland Arts, and is supported by the The Scottish Government and UK Government's Town Centre Fund.

Good Evening!

As you may know, we’re working hard with the wonderful Super Power Agency to create their exciting new superpower-ed bus! As work on the interior of the bus is about to go ahead, we are on the hunt for a sheltered space in Edinburgh in which the transformation can happen. Today we're joining forces with OOTB and Leith Creative at a public engagement day aimed at raising awareness of Leith Tram Depot's demolition, as well as canvassing for ideas for a meanwhile site that will open in April 2018. the CITY FACTORY had its first outing at Hidden Door today 🏛🏗🏭 We had loads of fun with all the participants, thinking about what can make a city great! The 15m collage will make an appearance tomorrow at 7, behind the panel discussing "How important is a cultural infrastructure?" Come along to have a look 👀 It'll also be hitting the street soon.
