I’ve always felt a strong affinity with the sea.

Growing up on the coast shaped who I am, and I still feel a deep connection to Dunnet Bay, even after many years away.

These paintings hold that connection — physically and mentally. The pigments are made from rocks gathered from the very shores that shaped my childhood, creating a direct connection to place, memory and home.

I know that this beach holds similar feelings for many. It’s definitely a special place.

I’ve always felt a strong affinity with the sea.

Growing up on the coast shaped who I am, and I still feel a deep connection to Dunnet Bay, even after many years away.

The bluey green in this pigment is just *chefs kiss* not only are these original paintings, the colour palettes are truly unique, I’ve not managed to find another rock to give me that perfect hue.
