Samhain blessings 🧡

On maternity leave from tattooing but paid a visit to the tomb of John Livingston, a 17th century apothecary who lived in Edinburgh but died from the Black Death that’s estimated to have wiped out half of Leith. On his stone is written “Mors patet; Hora Latet” or “Death is sure; the hour obscure”.

Last tattoo before breaking up for maternity leave! This was based on an old Celtic board game piece found at Iona Abbey. Carved from bone, it depicts a selkie holding a salmon. In this area the selkie was also considered half salmon not seal. Thank you Anna for such a fun idea and session, great to see you as always! ✨🧜‍♀️

Been a little quiet on here lately but for those that might not have seen me recently, there’s some exciting news!

First weekend of August will be my last one tattooing before I go on maternity leave. I won’t be back for a wee while so if you’ve been thinking of getting a tattoo from me, now is the time! As always both flash and customs welcome ✨
