We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Aonghas Grant. A legend in the fiddle world and of traditional music, he was a loyal supporter of the Scots Fiddle Festival. He led many great workshops and talks, and featured in some fantastic recitals and concerts over the years. Even when he wasn’t on the programme, he turned up every year to socialise when he could.

We are so grateful to have clips like this to look back on. This was from 2002 with Aonghas playing alongside his daughter Fiona and guitarist Ross Martin.
