Yellow Magpies Scottish Theatre Company based in Edinburgh Scottish theatre company based in Edinburgh. We create immediate, eclectic, diverse and relevant new work.

We performed our original work Once This Is All Over We Still Have To Clear Up at BabelFest 2015 Targoviste, Romania to a standing ovation at the Tony Bulandra theatre in Targoviste. We are currently working on a couple of projects back here in Scotland, with a view of performing in the coming months. We also run workshops for adults and children, based around music, dance, performance, and new wr

We had a lovely night at Festival and King's Theatres, Edinburgh seeing this! Some heartbreaking, heartwarming and hilarious tales and folk on offer... such an amazing idea!

Wonderful day out and about in Edinburgh! Saw Palmyra by FellSwoop Theatre - amazing, energetic performances in a hilarious and harrowing piece. Then Mouthpiece from Quote Unquote Collective - nae words to describe how incredible (but perhaps that how it should be). Then some Edinburgh International Festival magic with Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) - intense, affecting and beautiful as always. August in the capital is the best!!

We saw A Stone's Throw by Giddy Aunt as part of Edinburgh International Book Festival... what an absolutely lovely show! Hilarious, touching and so creative! Our pal Hannah Jarrett-Scott was flawless too, really beautiful morning... and we got badges!
