We are pleased to announce the first of our selection panel for Alchemy: Goldsmiths Scotland. Their perspectives will help us select a range of contemporary jewellers and silversmiths that represent the finest craft and design in Scotland and the wider UK.
Becky Knott is Senior Curator of Metalwork 1900 – Now and V&A Dundee Scottish Design Galleries at the Victoria and Albert Museum. She specialises in contemporary craft and design.
Becky was previously Lead Curator of V&A East Storehouse and Assistant Curator of Sculpture, Metalwork, Ceramics and Glass at the V&A. She has also worked at the British Museum and the Bowes Museum. She is currently co-curating the redevelopment of the Scottish Design Galleries at V&A Dundee.
Recent projects have included Metalworking Now and Richard Batterham: Studio Potter at the V&A. She co-edited Lives of the Great Makers, published by Thames & Hudson in 2025.
