A date for your diary - on Saturday November 1st 2025 at 7.30pm we'll be hosting a house concert for the quite extraordinary Pauline Vallance.

Pauline is an amazing clarsach and flute player, and a fine interpreter of songs both modern, traditional and self-penned. She is well known for her "Song Swaperama," where she sings the words of one song to the tune of another in an incredible display of vocal and mental gymnastics!

We're certain this will be a sell out so get your name in early to reserve a place. (Just send a PM) Entry by donation (suggested £10) and the concert will be followed by the usual singaround. There may be soup!

A date for your diaries, on 26th April we're delighted to be able to present the amazingly brilliant Christine Sparks with her new album, "Love Yourself Wildly". Although it's a couple of months away we recommend reserving a place ASAP by messaging us or texting 07966722604.
All proceeds from this concert will go to the charity Finding Your Feet.

On Saturday 16th Nov Fairnie House Concerts are pleased to present George Murphy and Frank Cassidy. George and Frank are musicians from Northern Ireland with a great pedigree and reputation for humour and melody.
George sings and plays guitar and Frank adds harmony and amazing bouzouki. Don't miss these guys as we catch them between playing in Melrose and Irvine folk clubs.

Doors open at 7.30 for an 8.00 start. George & Frank will play for one hour, we'll take a break and this will be followed by a session/jam.

Fairnie House Concerts are back!

To help launch their new album "Still Dreaming" we are hosting Tom Fairnie and Klaus Adamaschek on Saturday 6th April at 7.30pm at our house (PM for address). The album has already received rave reviews and there will be exciting news about it released soon.

It will be our usual format well known to our "regulars". A one hour performance followed by a singaround session - there may even be soup!

After much deliberation we've decided that we're not going to restart our house concerts. Instead we'll host a musical soirèe 4 times a year to which friends, artists and supporters of our house concerts will be invited. We'll be deleting this page in a couple of weeks but we'd like to thank all the fabulous musicians we've hosted over the years, and all the wonderful people who have joined us in the audience and post-concert sessions. You're all stars!

Sadly we're cancelling our 2021 programme but we'll review things in the Summer and see how things are then. We very much miss our get togethers and all you lovely people who come along but hopefully it'll happen again.
