CASTING CALL: Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill, adapted from the novel by Jane Austen

We are looking for a lively ensemble to bring this joyful adaptation to life. Auditions will be held 6.30pm on Sunday 6 September at Greenbank Parish Church.

For full details, visit the production page on our website. www.uniontheatre.co.uk

NB. Casting will be inclusive, and actors of all genders, ages and identities are encouraged to read for whichever roles they are interested in. If you see yourself in a role, or want to challenge yourself with something new, please read for it.

The only characters who cannot be doubled are Lizzy and Darcy. There is flexibility in all other casting. At least 50% of the cast will be female/female-identifying.

We've enjoyed fantastic audiences for our debut production, including two very special guests. Playwright Peter Arnott participated in an insightful discussion on our opening night in a Q&A session led by Gregor McElvogue.

And later in the week we were delighted to welcome Paule Yimga Tchamdjou who voices Elima, pictured here with co-cast members Adrian Moore and Paul Arendt.

Thanks to everyone who has come along this week; looking forward to the final performance this evening!
