It’s been a long journey from filming to release, but what a wonderful time we had. The documentary followed Beaufort Male Choir, focussing on the journeys of Conor and Callum.

It was great to follow the journeys of our comrades in song, Voices of the Valley - The Fron Male Voice Choir and Côr Meibion Machynlleth. Da iawn!!

For Beaufort the journey continues with a number of concerts remaining this year … with our Annual Concert at All Saints Catholic Church, Ebbw Vale on Saturday 10th October.

Before that you can catch us at Clarence Hall Crickhowell on Saturday 5th September.

Well done to all the choirs that took part in the Male Choir Competition at today’s Eisteddfod. It was great to listen to each and every item. The amount of work that goes into competition can never be underestimated.

Obviously a special mention to Risca Male Choir and our new documentary comrades, Côr Meibion Machynlleth

Best of luck to our friends in Hear Her Voice , who are competing in the National Eisteddfod today under the stewardship of Matthew Harrison.
What this choir have achieved in less than a year is astounding.

We are very excited to announce that since last year, a film crew from Yeti Media have followed Beaufort Male Choir at concerts and rehearsals and have been there at every turn, capturing the real heart of our choir family, resulting in a 3 part premium documentary for Sky TV.
Along with the wonderful Fron male choir and Cor Meibion Machynlleth, we are featuring in “Voice of the Valleys”, a peek into our choirs, people and friendships, showing our pride and ‘hwyl’ in what we do.
The series is being aired at 8pm Wednesday 5th August on Sky Arts.

Two very special choirs in their final preparations to compete in this years’ National Eisteddfod.
It promises to be a wonderful evening of music.

This summer marks an exciting milestone for Hear Her Voice as we prepare to take part in our first National Eisteddfod Competition.

As a relatively new choir, we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come in such a short space of time, and on Thursday 6th August we’ll have the opportunity to perform on one of Wales’ biggest cultural stages.

Before then, Echoes of the Eisteddfod gives us the chance to share some of the music we’ll be taking with us, alongside a selection of pieces that have been part of our journey so far.

Join us on Saturday 1st August at St Woolos Cathedral, Newport, as we share the stage with Risca Male Choir for an evening of inspiring choral music.
