I hope you’re all keeping cool I’m this crazy heat 🥵

Tarantulas seem to moult when the weather warms up, so here a moult of my baby bird eater! When she reaches adulthood she will be the size of a dinner plate (approx 12in)
Tarantulas are measured diagonally from toe to toe!

We also had a beautiful massive male stag beetle visit our garden! He flew off but hung around for hours! Was a great sight!

We are getting so excited for next weekend! To help make your morning completely stress-free, here is everything you need to know before you arrive:

⏱️ TIMES & CLOSING
10:40 AM: VIP / Early Access Entry 🔑
11:00 AM: Standard Ticket Entry 🎟️
4:00 PM: Show Closes 🛑

🚗 PARKING INFO
Littledown Centre Car Park: Free for the first 3 hours! (Chargeable after that—please check local signage).

Free All-Day Parking Deal: Spend £5 or more in the Littledown café or bar, and your parking is free all day! ☕🍰

Alternative Parking / Public Transport: There are other local car parks and on-street parking nearby. Please park responsibly and respect the neighbours! Don't forget Bournemouth has great public transport links, should you prefer to leave the car at home!

🗺️ WHERE TO FIND US (ENTRANCE)
Don't go to the main centre entrance! Head down the left-hand side of the building, past the Blue Badge parking bays.

Follow the signs: There will be signage at the main stairs pointing you left toward our dedicated event entrance.

Queuing: Follow the signs on-site for your specific queue. VIP ticket holders, anyone with accessibility needs, or those requiring extra assistance should follow the VIP signs straight down to the main gate.

🎟️ TICKETS & ENTRY
Pre-booked Tickets: Advance online sales will close this week so we can prep our scanners. Please have your QR codes open on your phone (or printed out) ready at the gate to keep the queue flying!

Buying on the day? Yes, you can! Tickets will be available on the gate. To keep things speedy, we accept Card (Contactless) or Cash (ideally exact change please).

Wristbands: You’ll get a wristband on entry. Keep it on! You can come and go as much as you like throughout the day, just flash your wristband to the gate staff when you head back in.

Don't forget to check the number on your wristband against the signs by the main gate! Match the numbers, and you will be going home with a prize!

🏫🕷️ THE LAYOUT
The Main Sports Hall: This is where the magic happens—you'll find all of our incredible trade stands and vendors here!

Upstairs: You'll find the toilets, the Café/Bar, and a great viewing area looking down over the hall.

Accessibility: There is full lift access to the upper floor for anyone who needs it.

An evening with the Scouts! 🐜✨

What can I say… I genuinely love what I do. Getting to bring these incredible creatures along to meet such enthusiastic children (and adults!) is always a highlight.

Everyone had a fantastic time learning about insects and enjoying a truly hands-on experience with invertebrates they wouldn’t usually get the chance to see—let alone hold!

All set up for another Birthday Party!!

The children were amazing, the adults loved getting involved!
It’s certainly a different type of party!!

I don’t take photo’s once the inverts are out as I’m simply busy watching and teaching the children all about the inverts!

I’ve also been busy with Scouts, back out this evening to another Scout troop! Can’t wait!

🪳 The Hissers have had an upgrade 🪳

These are amazing pets for children, easy to care for, no extra special requirements and can be held with ease!

They absolutely love fish flakes, oranges and cucumber for hydration!

What is Extrovert Inverts?

Extrovert Inverts is an animal encounter experience with invertebrate's. I bring my collection to you whether that be at your home, a hall, a scouts group, care home's or even an event held at pubs, I will also be attending Bishopstoke Carnival in June where you will be able to meet the animals!

My name is Emily, I am a huge animal lover and have over 100 animals at my home. I also run a rabbit rescue Hop & Flop Rabbit Rescue I've had and looked after a huge variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, bearded dragon, water dragon, leopard geckos etc I have a wide range of knowledge which I love to share with you at my encounters. I have 5 children and I'm qualified in childcare and education (although this was some years ago now) I am insured and DBS checked too. I'm based in Bishopstoke but happy to travel locally.
