Just look at this 😍
Nature really is the best colour designer. My little garden this evening — a bumblebee working her way up my lupin and I just stood there completely mesmerised.
But can you see what I see?
That deep violet graduating into soft pink and lilac… that’s a Cloud 9 ink pad colour story right there. And those layered petal shapes are perfect embossing folder inspiration 😉
Nature has been quietly designing for us all along. I love that our craft colours come from moments exactly like this one 💜

Okay, I have to be honest with you 😄. This oil pastel kit from Creativ Company UK sat on my desk unopened for a week. Because I am NOT a messy person and the whole idea of oil pastels just felt intimidating.

Then a trick.

Cotton buds instead of fingers. That’s it. That’s the secret 😂

No mess. No stained hands. Just some of the most gorgeous blending I’ve ever done.

The quality of these is genuinely impressive - smooth, rich colour, and everything you need in one box. I went in sceptical and came out completely converted.

There's something almost hypnotic about watching interference reinkers come to life over embossed card. The same colours, blended over both black and white cardstock, look how differently they shimmer depending on the base you choose. So many of you have asked us to share this one again, so here it is!
And there's a lovely bit of timing: the reinkers used in this video are currently on a wonderful deal, so if you've been tempted to try this technique yourself, now's the moment.
