My 9‑layered Count Duckula Foil Art Print put up a fight worthy of a full cartoon episode. Hours spent deconstructing it in Illustrator. Multiple test runs. Several offerings to the foiling deities. Zero cooperation.

JustCoolFoilz' is a newly established small business based in Eastbourne, East Sussex. It was born from the love of Art, Image manipulation, a little free time in the evenings to play around in Adobe Illustrator and it certainly helps having a creative imagination!

I’m Darren — a printmaker obsessed with pushing the limits of multi‑layered foil art. Over the past two years I’ve mastered techniques that take patience, precision, and a willingness to burn through a mountain of materials just to get one perfect result.

People often see the final shine and think it’s easy. Trust me, it isn’t. Every layer of foil behaves differently, every design demands its own experiments, and every finished piece is the result of countless tests, adjustments, and late‑night “one more try” moments.

What drives me is the challenge — the thrill of creating something spectacular that couldn’t exist without that extra bit of stubbornness and curiosity. I love exploring new combinations, new textures, and new scenarios to make foil do things it’s not supposed to do.
