Are you an aspiring writer or already writing, or are you just interested in the process as an actor or director? Whatever your level this workshop will provide a step-by-step guide to scene structure, form, and style.

The difference between stage and screen will be defined and examples from a recently published play will be reviewed and explored. This session is designed to give attendees ideas and inspiration for their own work.

What are plays for? What do we want audiences to take away after seeing and reading them? How can we create an effective and convincing world and how much do we care and connect with what we are watching, writing, acting and enabling?

So, come and join us for this full evening session which aims to take all who attend from first steps to Final Cut.

Who do you play as when you play Cluedo?
It’s always been Colonel Mustard - my favourite colour is yellow plus he reminds me of my dad!

If you were going to commit a crime, what room would you do it in/where would you do it and why?
Study, Candlestick. My sister and I played Cluedo constantly when we were growing up and we had a song - that was the chorus: “In the study with the candlestick!”

Who do you play as when you play Cluedo?
My favourite colour is red so I would usually play as Miss Scarlett

If you were going to commit a crime, where would you do it and why?
I would do it in the Lounge because it has a secret passage to the conservatory so I could quickly get away from the scene of the crime
