http://www.thedraytonarmstheatre.co.uk/the-dying-wish-1 Fractured Time is back for a new take on ‘The Dying Wish’ - "It's 1984 meets Waiting for Godot!"

Rooney and Ingmar are seasoned hangmen doing their best to survive a job that no longer makes sense. When a new case tests the limits of reason, the cracks in the system — and in themselves — begin to show.

Following its sold-out run at the Golden Goose as part of the Lambeth Fringe Festival, Fractured Time Productions brings this fresh new production to the Drayton Arms Theatre. Darkly comic. Uncomfortably human. Unexpectedly moving.

CAST
Benjamin Press - Rooney
Chris Gallagher - Ingmar
Chris Machari - Paul Freeman
Romeo Olukotun - The Engineer & Kiddy
Barbara Mariposa - The Cleaner
Kay Boggett - The Attorney & Mum

Today marks both and day. You cannot have one without the other.
St George’s Day, a celebration of courage, resilience, and the quiet strength of standing for what you believe in. Not just legend, but a reminder of the spirit we carry forward.
Shakespeare’s Day — honouring the words that have shaped theatre, language, and the way we understand ourselves. Stories of ambition, love, power, and humanity that still echo centuries later.
From dragons to soliloquies, today is about bravery in all its forms — on the battlefield, on the stage, and within ourselves.
Here’s to stories that endure, and the voices that dare to tell them. 🎭
