Offbeat Collective Offbeat Collective is a new grassroots creative community. We’re starting with Offbeat Dursley and we want you to be part of it.

Our aim is to spark bold, playful happenings that bring people together through art, performance, and imagination. Offbeat Collective is a grassroots, volunteer-led crew bringing together artists, makers, performers, and local people to celebrate creativity in Dursley and beyond. We aim to run frequent workshops, talks and activities and Offbeat Dursley (our big-but-micro festival returning 6 June

2026). We believe in ditching the ordinary, making space for imagination, and putting creativity at the heart of everyday life.

Creativity is not a luxury.
It’s part of being human.

Creativity isn’t just theatre buildings and galleries and people calling themselves artists.

It’s problem solving. It’s imagination. It’s curiosity. It’s community. It’s making things together. It’s asking “what if?” It’s finding new ways forward.

It’s workshops. Street performance. Bunting. Treasure hunts. Music in market squares. People trying things out together.

So we ask you...

Coming up over the next couple of weeks as part of Offbeat Dursley:

🎪 Play in the Street: Juggling & Movement Workshop with Charles Brockbank
📅 Monday 25 May
⏰ 10am–11:30am
📍 Chantry Centre
A playful, low-pressure workshop exploring juggling, movement and creativity. Expect games, circus skills, silliness and trying things out together. Ages 7+ and adults join in too.

Across the day on Saturday 6 June, expect roaming performances, treasure hunts, ropey encounters, magical roadside creations, fishy chaos and playful moments appearing across Dursley town centre.

You might stumble across:

🗺 hidden discoveries and strange corners
✨ tiny magical objects and colourful creations
🐟 a fishy presence getting you dancing at the Fish Disco finale
