It has been such a busy start to term that I’ve had very little time to take photos 🤪

Our first project of the term with the Kidz was a very cute suitcase project. The main learning from this project was to overlap to convey depth - we are continuing to use this skill in our current project too.

The Kidz loved that they could open their suitcase and they all had some very creative ideas about what they wanted to pop in them ❤️

Just a wee reminder that there is no Totz this morning as we’ve just collected this angel from the airport….. and I didn’t even cry! 😉

Seeing the gang hugging in the airport and back together melted my heart.

Does your kid love to draw cartoon characters or follow tiktok and youtube draw alongs? SKILLZ QUICKDRAW is the class you have been looking for!!!

Learn the basics of drawing, through a fun and easy step by step draw along with Claire. Each week we have a different theme, and lots of cute characters and subjects to draw. We will cover everything from Disney, popular TV and Film Characters, Computer Games, Animals, Insects and Kawaii.

The theme for the first class will be 'DISNEY BESTIES'. Think of characters like Lilo and Stitch, Pooh Bear and Piglet etc.

If you have any kids P3-P7 age, and this sounds like their kind of fun, then please follow the link to book your place. Starting on 9th September, and £30 for a block of 5 classes (that's only £6 a class!).

It was all about the sphere at SKILLZ this week. We are learning all about shadows and highlights, and how to shade using graphite pencils, blending stumps and kneadable erasers. This week we practiced by drawing a floating sphere. Everyone did great work!

Next week we will be using our new found skills of drawing spheres, to draw some real life objects.

We had a lovely week at Krafty Totz.

The children enjoyed a mix of Toy Story‑themed play, the Slinky Dog tunnel, playdough with character cutters, Peppa Pig in gloop muddy puddles and our wooden afternoon tea set — plenty of opportunities to explore and imagine.

They also spent time at the vets role‑play area, practising kindness and care through pretend play.

To support fine motor development, the Totz created sweet bingo‑dabbed jellyfish, each one unique and full of colour.
Thank you to all our families for joining us, your little ones make every session special.

I loved our first Teenz project of the term and think they did a fantastic job of their roadside attraction project 😍

It’s fab to see all of their personalities coming out in their art!

I didn’t get photos of them all …. There should be 18 🙈

And the playdough pic just goes to show they are never too old to play as a group of the Teenz created a ‘family portrait’ …. Love that!
