Been working on these bar stools, there are five. The easy bit is the upholstery. The work is refinishing the wood. Clean off old muck, apply paint stripper, use paint stripping tool to remove the paint. Sand, paint with primer and paint top coat in many layers. The Upholstry looks so much better with the chair cleaned up. I’ve exposed the wood on the back rest as it gives the chair some interest and as it’s a frequent touch point anyway and will reduce the need for touch ups due to wear and tear.
