We are supporting an 'ODD ONE OUT' competition over the coming few weeks

***THE COMPETITION WINNER WILL RECEIVE A FABULOUS PRIZE OF A DAY TRIP TO LAPLAND FOR 2 ADULTS & 2 CHILDREN IN DECEMBER 2024. (TERMS & CONDITIONS APPLY).***

Shops participating in this competition will have on display, either in their window or on display within their shop, an “ODD” item for sale which should not be associated with that shop.

Santa has left a post-box in Murphy’s Bar & Restaurant for all entries. Closing date for entry is Sunday 10th December 6.00pm.

Over the past week, our town has faced an incredible challenge. The support from our own local community and those who know and love our town has been nothing short of amazing, and we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude.

It's heartwarming to see neighbours, friends, and strangers coming together to help one another, showcasing the resilience and unity that makes Downpatrick so special.

As we move forward, one of the most effective ways to support Downpatrick is to shop local. Many business owners are working tirelessly to rebuild and get back on their feet, especially as we approach the Christmas period. By shopping locally over the next few weeks and months, you can make a significant difference in helping them recover and thrive once more.

Let's remember that we are in this together, and your ongoing support will be the guiding light that leads us through these challenging times.

Thank you Downpatrick, for your unwavering spirit and resilience.

Together, we can come out of this stronger than ever and rebuild our beautiful town.
