🇫🇷 🚢 RETOUR IMPOSSIBLE 🚢 🇫🇷

The latest music video from DJ Fantôme has arrived.

After a mysterious appearance across the Channel, DJ Fantôme attempts the impossible return between England and France. No passport. No explanation. Just the sea, the sunrise, and a journey that somehow feels bigger than the crossing itself.

Set aboard a speeding vessel crossing the English Channel, *Retour Impossible* blends French-language electronic music, mythology and movement into a surreal voyage between two worlds.

From the French-language album DJ Fantôme by DJ Dovah.

Bon voyage... 🇫🇷✨

🎵 Same Move All Night

Another music video from the latest DJ Dovah album, End of the Night, Start of Something.

Somewhere between the first song and the last, something strange happens on a dancefloor.

People come and go.

The music changes.

The night moves on.

Yet certain rhythms seem to stay exactly where they are.

The video became a colourful mix of nightlife scenes, dancers, lights and movement, all connected by the idea that sometimes the simplest moves are the ones that last the longest.

You don't always need a new move.

Sometimes the old one works just fine.

🎤❤️ DUCHESS OF DEVOTION ❤️🎤

Back to The Duchess Re-Mix (J & J's Karaoke Hits), released last year.

This time it's Duchess of Devotion, one of the more heartfelt tracks from the album, featuring local karaoke legends Jess and Jay.

Part love song, part karaoke anthem, and part tribute to the places that become part of our lives, Duchess of Devotion follows Jess and Jay as they prepare for another unforgettable performance at their favourite venue.

The song has always had a warm nostalgia about it, and it was great to finally bring it to life as a music video. From the rehearsals to the karaoke stage itself, this one really captures the spirit of J&J and the world they inhabit.

Like many of the videos from this project, it's also fun seeing characters that originally existed only in songs suddenly become something you can actually watch.

Hope you enjoy this latest adventure with Jess and Jay. 🍻🎶✨

🎵 Same Floor, Different State

From the latest DJ Dovah album, End of the Night, Start of Something.

Unlike some of the other tracks on the album, this one isn't based around a particular conversation, character or incident.

It can relate to those moments on a night out where you're standing on the same dancefloor, listening to the same music as everyone else, but somehow experiencing a completely different night.

The video drifts between nightlife scenes through clouds of vapour and haze, creating a dreamlike atmosphere where familiar places seem to blur together and time moves a little differently.

Sometimes nothing around you changes.

The floor is the same.

The music is the same.

The people are the same.

But the experience isn't.

Not every DJ Dovah track is about what happened.

Sometimes it's about how it felt.

🎵 I Can Smell That

Another music video from the new DJ Dovah album, End of the Night, Start of Something.

Despite what the title might suggest, this isn't really a love song, and it isn't based on a romantic encounter of my own.

It's more about one of those small moments on a night out that sticks with you for reasons you can't quite explain. A brief conversation, a familiar atmosphere, people crossing paths, and the feeling of being completely content in the moment.

More than anything, I think the video captures the atmosphere of Yess Pleasee Mumaas perfectly. The lights, the dancefloor, the sense that everyone is following their own story for a few hours before disappearing back into the night.

At just under 2 minutes, it's one of the shortest tracks on the album.

There is also a much longer Yess Pleasee Mumaas Mix which runs for well over 7 minutes. I don't have any plans to release that version, although if I ever ended up DJing there, it would probably find its way into the set. 😄

One of the quieter tracks on the album, but perhaps one of the most personal.

From the album:

End of the Night, Start of Something
