✨ Devizes Jubilee Morris – Mid-Summer Dance Out at Avebury ✨

Join us on a magical midsummer evening as Devizes Jubilee Morris take to the historic landscape of Avebury for a special Mid-Summer Dance Out.

We’ll be dancing at The Red Lion Avebury, from 7:30pm on Tuesday 23rd June, bringing traditional Morris energy to one of the most atmospheric and ancient sites in the country. Expect lively stepping, bells, sticks, and plenty of midsummer spirit with the awe-inspiring ancient stones of Avebury setting the scene.

There’s something truly special about dancing in the presence of the Avebury stone circle at midsummer—an evening where tradition, music, and landscape come together.

We've had a fabulous weekend - Saturday dancing at Holt Morris's Lacock day of dance, and then today we had the pleasure of dancing for Devizes Town twin town guests, from Mayenne, France, and Waiblingen, Germany.
We hope they forgive the attempts at communication in a language other than our own! They seemed to enjoy joining in anyway.
We now have 48 hours to cool down and wash the kit before Tuesday at the Red lion, Avebury, for our annual Solstice adjacent evening
