Unlocking the dusty storage container which held several pieces I’d collected over the years, sparked a renewed interested in design and colour! With a lifetime flair for DIY, making new from old and appreciating the beauty in the abandoned, Karen Elliott Art was started. After sharing images of what I was working on and getting positive reviews from friends and family, I decided to locate a works

hop quick. With a trailer load I moved my collection of furniture and started upcycling them to sell. And so, it continues – finding lovely old pieces that need some TLC, working with their design and functionality and then upcycling them for their new owner. You can be sure that most pieces will be colourful and bright!

How do you sneak a 4 drawer chest into someone’s house as a surprise? Haha pulled it off today! My van whisked it around town, I then had help to sneak it up the stairs and place it in the room, all while they were working in their garden studio!! ⭐️

The brief from my bestie was ‘Do what you want as long as it’s colourful’ Do you think I pulled it off?!

All painted with the fabulous Annie Sloan chalk paint and then clear wax 🎨
