As Night Falls: The Crimson Ball is a vampire themed LARP - immersive and interactive theatre event set in the modern day, and held in the gothic former library of The Wardwick in Derby.

A masquerade ball, even if it is a LARP, needs music. We have had music created especially for As Night Falls: The Crimson Ball - a vampire live roleplay.

Producer and songwriter Chris Brind has composed music based on the As Night Falls setting, which will set the tone for the night without disrupting immersion and roleplay. An album of music from the Crimson Ball will also be released after the event.

In four months time, we will be holding As Night Falls: The Crimson Ball - a vampire live roleplay (LARP) in a 19th century gothic library.

Join us for an evening being immersed in the bloody world of vampire politics and decadent intrigue.

LARP is akin to live theatre, except there is no audience and players are part of the cast. Each of the participants dress as their character and the outcome of the story is determined by their actions. There is no script or predetermined narrative, but a story told by the participants through their character’s actions.
