It’s been a busy few months!

From Fade Therapy to our maternity conversations and vaccination work, we’ve valued every moment of connecting with and learning from you.

A huge thank you to all our partners who have made this work possible so far.

It’s a beautiful thing when men feel able to open up about their emotions. It’s even more beautiful when they’re encouraged to do so.

A huge thank you to Rob Sissons and the BBC team for taking an interest in our Fade Therapy project and sharing its story.

We’ll keep this work going for as long as we can, because we see the difference it makes. And thank you to our incredible team at The Nsibidi Project for continuing to bring communities together through African stories, ideas, and worldviews.

Last Saturday reminded us of the power of listening.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the African mothers and caregivers who came out to share their stories and perspectives.

These conversations are vital, and your contributions will help inform how the NHS can better support families in our community.

We also thank RCCG Living Seed Church Derby for allowing us to use their space. This is community partnership at its best!

We had an amazing time at our Fade Therapy session on Thursday, 15 January.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with openness, to Joe Heeney MBE for facilitating such honest conversations, and to Lamar and his team for the fresh cuts.

Cuts, conversations, and community - exactly as it should be.

Yesterday, we gathered for our final Fade Therapy session of the year, and it felt like the perfect way to close out 2025. The room was filled with open hearts, honest conversations, thoughtful feedback, and that rare but powerful thing: genuine male bonding.

Thank you to everyone who came through and showed up fully. Your presence, openness, and willingness to listen and share are what make Fade Therapy what it is.

A special thank you to Dharmesh Patel, Prevent Coordinator at Derby City Council, for taking the time to sit with us and speak openly about the work you do. The conversation around safeguarding young people from harmful content and behaviours was timely, important, and deeply appreciated.

We’re also grateful to Tanvir Akram and Dave Powell for leading our first session of the programme, setting the tone with a thoughtful exploration of what it means to be a man. This conversation stayed with us long after the session ended.

To our partners and volunteers: thank you for walking this journey with us. Your support behind the scenes is felt in every moment we create together.

This year may be ending, but the work continues. Next year, we go again.
