The original statement stands regarding equine influenza, at the Llannefydd Horse and Pony Show on Saturday 11th July 2026.
Equine flu is a non notifiable disease and there are no Government restrictions in force at present. The Show Committee has extensively discussed and assessed the Equine Influenza situation and this was with the help of a professional practicing Veterinarian who guided us accordingly. The Horse/Pony Show will go ahead as the ultimate decision and responsibility lies with the Owners as to whether they wish to attend with their Horse/Pony, or not to attend.
No amendments will be made on the day and under no circumstances should any Competitor or Member of the public raise this matter with our extremely hard working Volunteers. If you decide to attend there will be a very warm welcome awaiting you,and hoping that we all pull together for a day packed full of fun and happy Competitors
