How do you unwind?
This summer I discovered stand up paddle boarding, and I've fallen in love with the sport.
When you're on the water there are so many things that go through your mind like "I've got to balance", "I've got to row without falling in" and "will I be able to stand up?" and mostly "oh sh , oh sh , oh sh ". These were some of my thoughts.
Then finally standing up and feeling all those core muscles working to stabilise you and thinking "Wow, this is a full body workout ".
Even though you're exercising your whole body, there is a sense of peace. Mind blank, yet focused on sending signals to all your muscles to do the things you need to do.
It's bliss!
