Spring is coming to Sheaf St - hoping you are too!
Spring Comes to Sheaf Street – February 20th Launch!
Join us on February 20th as Daventry bursts into life with “Spring Comes Early to Sheaf Street” A joyful FREE celebration to chase away the winter blues and welcome the new season.
Sheaf Street will be transformed with beautiful carnival lanterns created by professional artist Emma Garofalo and Jess Rost Productions, colourful spring decorations inspired by local artist Binty Bint cheerful flowers, bumblebees, and chickens, and the star of the show – the magnificent “Mz Chicken,” a spectacular 12 foot illuminated centerpiece designed by Emma and assisted by the creative talents of students at Parker Academy (more about this in other posts)!!!
🌸 The FREE Launch Event – February 20th
Be part of a magical community procession with students from The Parker E-Act academy, along Sheaf Street to the bandstand, where our master of ceremonies will read an “Ode to Spring” to bring good luck and joy to Daventry, and the magical Binty Bint lanterns will be turned on!
Expect music, puppets and plenty of Spring as our community comes together for this feel-good celebration.

The festivities continue all month long! Stroll down Sheaf Street and enjoy the spring-themed window displays, discover a host of £10 special offers at independent businesses look out for 'Daventry Tenner' , and soak up the vibrant atmosphere as our town celebrates the new season.
