Wood Duck 🪵🦆

I had a lot of fun with this one, they are such a pretty colourful bird ! I also loved fitting its striking red eyes.

This Wood Duck walking stick is carved from lime wood, mounted onto a hazel shank, painted with acrylics and fitted with a glass eye.

My brother has written a beautiful children’s book for my nephew all about his dog, Driscoll. And I’ve had the pleasure of illustrating it for him.

I wrote this book along with illustrations from my sister for my son long before our dog Driscoll became ill. Around a year after the book was created we could tell something was wrong. After months of pain, misdiagnosis, weight loss, discomfort, and an emergency blood transfusion, we finally discovered Driscoll had a large mass in his intestines at 9 years old. Driscoll then had an operation to have the tumour removed, he is continuing treatment, which has gone far beyond what our insurance can cover. I was then made redundant from work and decided to try and sell this book as our way of supporting his ongoing care.

100% of the profit goes directly toward his treatment.

Driscoll is a huge part of our family and we just want him to have the best care possible.

Another Bonnie Cocker 🐶🐾

It’s been spaniels non stop lately. But I do love them ❤️ really like how this one has come together. Love the colour of the chocolate ones !

The head was carved from lime, painted with acrylics and joined to the hazel shank using a peg joint.

Red Lab walking stick 🪶🐾🐶

Love how this turned out. They are such a Bonnie dog and I love to carve them. Love the striking colour of the fox reds! I had a lovely time painting him.

I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has messaged me recently about commissioning a stick. I’ve been working my way through all of your messages and I’m incredibly grateful for the interest and support.

For now, I’m taking a short break from commissions while I focus on building my website. I can’t wait to share it with you all, so keep an eye on this page for updates!

Brown Hare Hand-Carved Walking Stick 🐇🌾

The brown hare is one of Britain’s most iconic mammals. It never gets old seeing them out and about, they are definitely one of my favourite sights in the British countryside.

I really enjoyed the carve on this hare I have only done one other hare stick so it was great to try my hand at one again.

The brown hare was carved from Lime wood fitted with glass eyes and hand painted with acrylics. It is then mounted onto a hazel shank and fitted with a brass ferrule.

➰curly the doodle➰

I have been so busy with orders and so useless with social media recently ! but here’s a lovely golden doodle called Curly.

Curly also has her collar carved with her which I think looks ace. She was definitely quite time consuming with all her curls but I think she turned out lovely. I hope you all like her

🪶Pheasant stick 🪶

I’ve had a lot of lovely pet requests recently but it’s nice to do a bird once in a while!

I love adding the feather details to the birds but my favourite part is painting them and watching them come to life, especially bright coloured birds like this pheasant.

Lovely Lab Skye ❤️

I loved this photo of Skye so I thought I’d add his little tongue to the carving. Such a Bonnie black lab !!

Skye was carved from Lime wood and mounted onto a Hazel shank. This stick is also fitted with an Alpine spike.
