This part-time role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of our fundraising strategy, working across donor stewardship, events, research and CRM management. It’s ideal for someone looking to develop a career in fundraising and arts administration within a leading Black British theatre company.
Key details:
24 hours per week (Tuesday–Thursday)
Croydon (Fairfield Halls) with hybrid working
£26,000–£28,000 pro rata

Through deep listening exercises and bold, experimental graphic scores, you’ll explore new ways of composing, performing and responding to sound. Expect collaboration, joyful noise and a little creative chaos.

Part of the Samuel Coleridge-Taylor 150 anniversary programme, celebrating the legacy of pioneering composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.

✨ TALAWA 86:26 SEASON✨

We’re stepping into our 40th anniversary year with a bold new programme celebrating Black excellence past, present and future.

From April 2026 to September 2027, TALAWA 86:26 champions the next four decades of Black talent through new work, outdoor festivals, a lecture series, digital commissions and long-standing talent development programmes.

Expect the launch of the Mona Hammond Lecture Series with RADA, a UK outdoor tour of Fragments of Us, a rehearsed reading of The Black Jacobins, Talawa’s first ever production in 1986, with the University of Glasgow, the return of Talawa Firsts 2026, our Young People’s Theatre Programme and the Talawa Introductory Writers’ Group, PLUS a new digital audio commission by Daniel Bailey and a landmark 40th Anniversary Showcase in London.

This is an ode to where we’ve been and a powerful statement of where we’re going.
