FLASHBANG AUDITIONS 🎭

Playing age 21–25? We want to hear from you.

Fast, funny, physical and hard-hitting, Flashbang, a new acclaimed play by James Lewis, explores friendship, masculinity, grief and the night everything changes.

We’re touring across Norwich and Norfolk, including smaller venues like Dead Wax in Norwich.

Drama Mavericks CIC is casting 4 professional actors for a new Norwich-based production of James Lewis’s acclaimed Flashbang, directed by David Lester.

Following The Proforca Theatre Company’s recent UK tour, we’re planning 5+ performances across Norwich & surrounding venues.

Another successful production under our belt, and another great showing for local talent! ⭐

And If The Surface Tension Breaks was an ambitious project, but something we were really excited about sharing. David Brady's writing addressed some bleak topics and really hard-hitting questions but was ultimately full of so much love, hope, and humanity. 💙

We just want to wish a massive thank you to our wonderful cast; Chris, Aura, Ed & Lorna, director David Lester and all the brilliant production crew who helped bring it to life!

Lastly, thanks to you, the lovely folks who came to see it. Doing your bit to support local talent, new writing and independent theatre - hurrah! 🥂

A windswept moor. A family curse. A gigantic hound. What could possibly go wrong? 🐾

Drama Mavericks CIC is holding auditions for an inventive, hilarious, and fast-paced adaptation of The Hound of the Baskervilles!

We are looking for 3 fearless, playful actors (all abilities welcome) to join our upcoming production, as well as backstage crew and passionate creatives looking to gain experience or collaborate.

This is a voluntary/community theatre opportunity based in Norwich, perfect for performers looking to showcase multi-roling skills and creative backstage legends wanting to build a production together.

The end of the world starts right now.

We're getting warmed up for opening night at Norwich Puppet Theatre, where four actors will be taking on a bold new piece of theatre - And If The Surface Tension Breaks.

Funny, strange, tender and unexpectedly uplifting. One man is given a final moment to look back at the life he has lived, the people he has lost, the love he ran from, and the future he never allowed himself to imagine.
