🎭 Cast Announcement 🎭
We are delighted to reveal that the role of Mr Mushnik will be played by Michael Murray !🪴
With the exception of Miscast, this is Michael’s first production with ACTS.
Michael came to performing later than most, taking to the stage for the first time in his early twenties when he appeared in MADS production of Dirty Dancing and, as they say, the rest is history.
Away from musical theatre, many will know that Michael enjoys any opportunity to perform now that he’s caught the bug. He has competed in both Strictly and Lip Sync Battles, winning both competitions before returning as a judge, where his quick wit and sharp tongue have proved a hit with audiences.
Outside of the performing arts, Michael works full-time as a civil servant and spends much of his free time in Clan na Gael working behind the scenes to support the club. As a passionate Armagh GAA supporter, two of his biggest interests came together when he was cast in the four person play The Lucky Shirt, inspired by Armagh’s 2024 All-Ireland success alongside fellow LSOH cast members Aaron Murphy and Karen McConville.
Michael describes this role as a new challenge but says he can’t wait to take to the stage alongside such a talented cast. He hopes to entertain audiences once again and is looking forward to being part of what promises to be a fantastic production.
