There will be plants for sale, tea, cake, and a tour around the gardens at 12, with questions and answers (like a gardeners question time!) See some of you there! We are asking that if you are coming if you could book a ticket - follow the link- Tickets are FREE, but it helps us get a sense of numbers so we know how much cake to bake! xx

FORAGE:: at Ben Spice will be offering a wild food walk. Life long nature lover and explorer of natural systems. Having lived half way between the wilderness and the city life, Ben has worked for Gordon Ramsay, Mark Hix, Marcus Waring and was head chef of pioneering ecological restaurants in London.
He has been obsessed with how we eat, our food systems, cultivation, health, nutrition and wider impact on ecosystem health. Spending time under the tutelage of some of the best in their fields, including Roger Phillips, Matthew Rooney, Richard Perkins Ben will be sharing his insights in fungi and wildfood

FUNGI::
As part of the offerings from the “Land” area at Rich Wright will be leading a walk through the woodlands at Coed Hills, to explore and observe key concepts of fungal ecology, with a particular focus on trees and deadwood.

Rich Wright co-managed Coed Forest Garden for 6 years and was a community member living on site during this time and is a font of knowledge when it comes to the fascinating world of fungi 🍄

LAND::
You will find a huge diversity of perennials, herbs, fruit trees and wild native plants in our 1.5 Forest Garden at Coed established in 2009.

At the area, we will be bringing you workshops on foraging, mycology, how to grow a forest garden with the Coed Hills forest garden founders and other permaculture related topics including a screening of .
There will also be stories and song connected to the land.
All of our food is going to be as locally produced and organic as possible.
We are looking forward to welcoming all ages and faces to this event!

QI-GONG

There will be a range of workshops in the healing and well-being area including Qi gong with Emma Money-Kyrle .sunhouse

Emma has been practicing Qigong for over 18 years, it has been a huge part of her journey of self discovery, gently guiding her in the power of the breath, movement and presence. Her teaching is greatly inspired by the earth energies that surround us, our connection to heaven and earth and all the elements of life. In this morning practice we will use an active warm up to open and release stuck or heavy energy or Qi from your body, making space for the fresh, bright life force energy to flow with ease. Allowing us to drop into a natural expanded state, where we can access our own innate health and vitality. Leaving us feeling lighter, calmer and more connected to all of life. Qigong means “To Nourish Life” bringing us home to ourselves, into the present moment, where we can re-set, rest and enjoy the precious now!
