AN APPRECIATION POST FOR MOZ BAKER. 🩵⚽️

We wanted to take this opportunity to throw back to a moment in our production of Symphony of Us in February 2022 which inspired what we are all about: ordinary people doing extraordinary things. ✨🙌

As part of UK City of Culture 2021/2 six uniquely constructive Coventrian's bravely shared their lives and their stories to the audience... with a 35 person professional orchestra Orchestra of the Swan... the beautiful angel windows... and the cathedral ruins, behind them. 🎻🏛️👼

One of these was the formidable Moz Baker, who accidentally became the Chair of The Sky Blue Trust in 2015 with a key ambition to bring the team back from the Northampton to play where they should... at home. 🏟️🏠💙

He went on to talk to five-thousand people in Broadgate atop the iconic 1987 bus we all love. 🚌📢 When the bus comes out again on Monday... we really hope Moz is onboard it once more in recognition of the people who helped get us back to where we are today. 🔝👏

We're very very proud of him... 🥹🩵

🎶 Watch the moment Moz Baker asked a Cathedral full of Coventrian's to: All Sing Together: https://youtu.be/mQJ-uOHcDd0?si=K669jHXOMc_vkOhb&t=4345 🎥🎤

Mimi is ME, ME, ME, but... WE, WE, WE love her anyway.

Mimi the museum manager adds a special ummph to The Museum Of Me elevating the stars and indeed attendees perspectives and opinions by... giving them time.

Your last chance to meet her in person is tomorrow at 4pm-5pm for Ian English's celebration.

After that we bubble wrap her up, pop her in the freezer and keep her on chill until we serve up on a plate over 20 new Museum Stars in Lincoln through March.

05/02/2026

Our first The Museum Of Me event kicked off today as we launched the Museum of Grace and Ricky.

Two extra ordinary individuals just like you, who are more than worthy of a museum.

If you can, join us over the next two weeks in Touchwood Shopping Centre Solihull - 4pm-5pm is extra special as the Museum Stars themselves will be there.

Be a part of it.

Amerah is a powerhouse spoken-word artist, poet, theatre-maker and facilitator - born and raised in Birmingham, with Muslim Yemeni roots that shape her fearless explorations of identity, belonging and community.

Her award-winning work celebrates everyday people, amplifies under-heard voices, and invites honest reflection on who we are - exactly the spirit that underpins Museum of Me. 🌍💛

👉 Stay tuned for stories, performances and intimate portraits of Solihull residents and members of the New Communities who have called Solihull home. Stories created with courage, compassion and creative flair.

A GORGEOUS example of Extraordinary Us in motion. 💫🌈

This year, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán 🇭🇺 tried to ban Pride celebrations — banning attendance, banning initiation, banning joy ❌🏳️‍🌈.

Last year, around 30,000 marched.
This year? Over 200,000 showed up. 💥

To tell Viktor:
Hun… you got this very wrong. 😌✋🏾

The power of people.💪🏽🌍
