Rounded off a busy day at the with a game of Bloodbowl and beers round Charlie’s! With out teams submitted for tournament on Sunday, this was our final practice game before then. Charlie’s chaos chosen, The vicious Bastards came out on top 2-1 against my Orcs, Da Skullfukkin Skullfukkaz. Manages to pull off bother 1 turn touchdown by lobbin’ the goblin!

Back from a really enjoyable ‘el fresco’ evening at Arches Venue getting some practice in for Death Save Gaming Bloodbowl tournament this weekend. I faced off against Lofty’s Black Orc team in the Battle for the Bestest Yellow Orcs and came out 3-0 victors! Was a very bloody and brutal game, with 6 dead players and one sending off!
It sounded like a very entertaining game on the table next to ours too, as Charlie’s Chaos Chosen held Pierce’s skaven to a 1-1 draw- check out the beautiful paint job on Pierce’s Rat Ogre- it was stunning!
Cheers for a great game Lofty- looking forward to Sunday now!

Working on the orcs today- getting some more highlights and details painted before their tournament on Sunday!
Hoping to get the black armies and leathers highlighted before the second barbecue of the weekend later today.

Game one today was in the ladder league at Phoenix Bloodbowl league- my orcs challenged Scott’s Dwarfs but failed to topple them, taking a 3-2 loss, with the Dwarfs getting a turn 16 touchdown with 3 go for its to secure the win.

Game 2 was hosted at Death Save Gaming and The After Hours Hobbyist and me got to give our tournament lists a run out. The orcs faces Himans this time, and I managed to get a 2-2 draw. I needed the Big ‘Un to dodge out near my end zone, hand off, a lineorc to make a long pass, and a Blitzer to then catch the ball whilst marked, then Blitz his way toward the end zone and make a go for it to score, all without any re- rolls (barring the captains pro roll, which he made! )

Two very tough, hard fought yet enjoyable games where both me and my opponents were made to work for results.
