UK METAL TITANS DEFENESTRATION REFORM AND SIGN MANAGEMENT DEAL WITH BITTER EDGE ENTERTAINMENT
Defenestration came to prominence as part of the early 2000s Nu-Metal scene. Between 1999-2004 the band toured the UK and Europe extensively, with acts such as Raging Speedhorn, Will Haven, Therapy?, Na**lm Death, Megadeth and many more.
The band said “While we’re sure nobody had our reformation on their 2024 bingo card, we’re just having too much fun to leave it at a few shows. That’s why we’re super excited to be working with Sam at Bitter Edge to help us push forward to bigger and better things next year. Sam has been a longtime fan and most importantly friend of the band and we can’t think of a better person to be joining forces with. Here’s to an awesome 2025, let’s make it the best and heaviest yet!”
Their 2001 debut album ‘One Inch God’ received significant coverage from the rock press, with Metal Hammer magazine calling it ‘The most confident and self-assured debut since Iron Maiden’.
The song Stitch received airplay from BBC Radio 1 Rock Show and TV coverage from MTV2 amongst others. This attention secured them their biggest shows to date with appearances at Reading & Leeds Festivals and Wembley Arena, supporting Slayer.
Defenestration’s final recording “For Us It Ends When We Drown” was released in 2004 and supported with a UK tour before the band disbanded in December of the same year.
In April 2024, Defenestration reunited for a handful of shows with Raging Speedhorn before deciding to write new music and tour further.
Senior Artist Manager, Sam Kelly-Wallace, said “The UK metal titans have returned! I’ve been a huge fan of theirs for so long and I never thought I’d see the day that they come back but here we are and as a fan I’m super excited let alone having the honour of being their manager. 2025 is going to be amazing!”
