magical about carving the

lino, layering the colors, and peeling back the paper to reveal the
finished print. Through my work, I hope to share that sense of calm and wonder — a reminder of
the beauty that grounds us and the peace we can carry into our everyday lives.

After eight years of making original prints, I’ve realised that choosing art has very little to do with knowing about art.

You don’t need to understand technique.
You don’t need to know what’s fashionable.
And it certainly doesn’t need to match the curtains.

You just need to notice what makes you stop.

The pieces we really love often connect with something much deeper — a memory, a place, a feeling, or simply the way we want our home to feel.

That’s the art worth living with.

Sail Away With Me captures the joy and freedom of being out on open water. A single yacht drifts across the horizon, its sails glowing in the sunlight, while the sea sparkles with shifting reflections of white, blue, and gold.

One of my favourite things about reduction linocuts is that they reward curiosity.

From a distance, Wildflowers and Wild Horses is full of energy and movement. But step a little closer and a different story begins to unfold. Individual flowers, delicate carved lines and small details quietly emerge, each one added by hand and each one helping to build the atmosphere of the whole piece.

I love the idea that someone could live with this print for years and still notice something they’d never seen before.

That’s one of the quiet joys of owning original art—it grows more familiar, yet never stops surprising you.

Every reduction linocut begins with a single block, but it never stays that way for long.

With each new layer, more of the block is carved away forever. There’s no reset button, no spare copy waiting in the wings—just careful planning, patience and a little faith that the image in my head will slowly appear with every print.

I think that’s part of what makes original printmaking so special. Every finished piece carries the story of every decision that came before it.
