A big hello 👋 to all my followers and clients , I hope you’re having a wonderful Bank Holiday break 🥰🌞

We’ve been so busy here at Rise & Shine , our social media has been a little bit neglected 🤩🎭

During the last 9 months , I have delivered over a 50 classes, across 5 different venues , while working alongside approximately 150 children and their families 🤗

Here at Rise & Shine , we encouraged children of all ages, abilities and genders, to dance , act and express themselves to their fullest 🥰🙌🏻

I have learned so much professionally and personally - I am eternally grateful for it all 😊

I am currently securing venues and dates for the summer term (July to August) and will keep you updated 👌🏼🤩🎭😊

In this term , with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, we are exploring the theme of love 💕- this week we talked about all the things we love ! But most importantly, we expressed what we love about ourselves 🥰🌈❤️

We created heart shapes with our hands and bodies - we learned a lovely new song and poem too , all about love 💕

🥰🙌🏻What a great year we had in 2021 🥳 - I can’t thank you all enough , for sending your children out , week after week! Never did I think, so many children would attend each week 😯 - I am forever grateful and we can’t wait to share our new ideas with you all in 2022🥰🥳

Did you know, that drama is one of the most effective platforms to explore and practise mindfulness techniques ..?💭🤔

Our aim, is to incorporate mindfulness techniques into each of our drama sessions, so as to equip our young people, with greater levels of emotional intelligence and coping skills 😊

To ensure your children get the best out of their drama workshop , I have drawn inspiration and guidance from some of the UK’s leading, children’s psychiatrists and educators. As a result , I have created a fun-filled , educational drama workshop, which promotes not just your acting skills , but your emotional well-being too! 🥰

As a mother and a qualified English and Drama teacher , I am incredibly passionate about our children’s well-being and how best to teach our young folk, how to manage emotions and how to live in the ‘here and now’. 🌿😌

Statistics show, that increasing numbers of children are reported as suffering from anxiety and depression… 🙁 the most effective way to tease out and understand those tricky emotions , is through play 🙃

We practice mindfulness to:

• ⭐️Feel calmer
• ⭐️Get to know ourselves better
• ⭐️Soften reactivity and steady our emotions
• ⭐️Improve focus and increase our attention span
• ⭐️Let go of stress
• ⭐️Improve our relationships with friends and family
