Today Ash and I did the table read of Hidden Histories: The Mystery of the Severed Heads followed by a site visit of Plas Mawr. I’m really excited about it, the venue is amazing and the story we have created around it is going to create intrigue, and asks an important moral question of the participants.

Part of my inspiration behind creating Finding Alice was wanting to create something that adds a little more magic to Llandudno’s cultural landscape, but also something my own children would genuinely enjoy experiencing.

Seeing them exploring the town, solving clues and getting completely immersed in the adventure is a pretty special feeling. And honestly, if they love it, I know other families will too.

After months of rebuilding Finding Alice to work around those pesky internet black holes in town, we’re ready to put it to the test…

🎩 We’re looking for just 4 families/groups to join us for a FREE half-term beta test session next week.

📅 Wednesday 27th May – 10am or 11am
📅 Thursday 28th May – 10am or 11am

In return, we ask for one thing… honest feedback.

You’ll get to experience the full adventure across Llandudno and help us stress-test the newly rebuilt app before the busy summer season.

I find beautiful abandoned buildings fascinating, they have so much potential especially where you experience design is concerned. They could be activated in so many ways through immersive theatre, interactive installations or projection mapping to name a few.

All regeneration teams should hire an experience designer in my opinion.

Site visit to Prestatyn high street today, I’ve never been before and I always like exploring new places. Some interesting quirky little shops I dispersed by standard chain stores. Lo tree as of potential to use experience designer to increase footfall.

The process of creating the latest Finding Alice reel. Sometimes creating content can be a drag but the payoff is a great feeling of achievement when you can share something you are happy with.

This is the latest reel ahead of the re-opening this coming Saturday.

I had the pleasure of visiting hall and gardens yesterday to discuss possible collaborations on future projects. I was blown away by the house and grounds, full of curiosities and lots of possible stories, so much to see!

Most of the props and game decals are now in situ around Llandudno. Loving how they have come out, they are bright and eye catching! Well done to Autotop our printers.
