✨Merseyside Dance Festival 2026✨

I am bursting with pride after this weekend. Our competition team went out for the very first time and competed 2 solos, 2 trios and a group routine. This team has only been training together for 6 months and for some this was their very first time competing or performing on a real stage. The hard work and dedication these children have shown in the lead up to this has been off the scale. I’m proud of every single member of the SBA Competition team, you all represented SBA and yourselves to the highest standard!

A massive thank you to .mcgeough.9 snd all the team at Merseyside Dance Festival for putting on such a lovely competition.

Results:

✨ Mini Trio (Skylar, Sophie and Isla) - 2nd Place
✨ Junior Trio (Jessie, Ava and Georgia) - No place this time but a special mention and some lovely comments from the judge.

✨ Ava, B Novice Acro - 1st Place
✨ Izzy, C Novice Acro - 2nd Place

✨ Junior Groups (Magic To Do) - No place this time but an amazing performance and lots of wonderful feedback.

I am bursting with pride after our competition teams very first dress rehearsal on Sunday!

The months of hard work and literal blood sweat and tears paid off. 20 children, 3 solos, 2 trios and a group dance all performed to an amazing standard.

SBA hasn’t even been open a year yet so to have a competition team already performing to the standard they are doing fills me with so much pride. Some of these kids have only been doing acro for 10/11 months and some have never performed to an audience before, so what an incredible achievement to have got up there and performed like mini professionals on Sunday!!

4 weeks until our first real competition….keep up the hard work team 🤩💜✨

✨SB Acrobatics is expanding and I’m looking for a new Acro teacher to join the team! ✨

With over 70 children, 5/6 classes on waiting lists and a growing competition team it’s time to add someone else to the teaching faculty.

We’re a Congleton based Acro school who offer recreational, elite and competitive level classes to children aged 3 upwards. I’m looking for someone who is extremely passionate and dedicated to take on all of the above levels along with the opportunity to do private lessons and competition routines.

A massive congratulations to these 4 superstars who won our big end of year awards! Each one of you have shown exceptional hard work and dedication this year 💜

✨ACROBAT OF THE YEAR - Izzy Rawlings ✨
Izzy you are one of the most determined, dedicated and hardworking girls I’ve ever worked with. Absolutely nothing stops Izzy achieving what she wants to achieve. Whether it’s in class or at home Izzy is always giving 100% and the results show!

✨JUNIOR MOST IMPROVED - Millie Kennerley ✨
Millie you’ve grown SO much since joining. Millie has gone from strength to strength this year (quite literally, she’s a MACHINE with the craziest upper body strength). Once Millie has a goal in her head she won’t stop until it’s been ticked off. She can also walk over 100 steps on her hands which is very impressive!!

✨MINI MOST IMPROVED - Georgia Thornley✨
Georgia you have absolutely blown me away with your improvements this year. To say Georgia is only 6 but regularly trains with girls almost double her age tells you everything you need to know about her! It doesn’t matter if she’s the smallest in the room, Georgia will always be working the hardest. She’s also fearless, it doesn’t matter what crazy tricks and lifts we ask of her, she’ll try them all!!

✨ RISING STAR AWARD - Sophie Tiffany ✨
Sophie you’re destined to be a real star! Sophie is one of the strongest and bravest 6 year olds I’ve ever met. She’s always up for a challenge and will never back down, even if it standing on top of someone twice her heights shoulders. I can’t wait to watch you continue to grow and shine Sophie, keep it up!

Ending 2025 with our Christmas party and awards night✨

The best night celebrating the end of our first year of being open. Well done every single member of SBA, you’ve all worked incredibly hard this year and definitely deserved a good party! An even bigger well done to all of our superstar trophy winners (separate post coming soon for you guys ✨) 🎄🍾🌟✨

🌟 OUT OF OFFICE 🌟
Reminder that all classes and privates are off until Friday 12th December. I’m going away this week so all messages and emails will be replied to once I’m back.
All SBA classes will resume as normal on Saturday 12th December ready for our party on the 13th🎄🌟✨

SBA July summer camp ✨
