Gotta catch ‘em all…

A custom order for two little Pokémon plushies and I think they’re just the sweetest! 🥰🧶

I love getting to make little creations like these, especially when they’re going to be loved by little hands!

What Pokémon would you choose? 👀✨

There’s something really lovely about 1:1 crochet lessons. 🧶💕

Whether it’s a child learning their very first stitches, a teen wanting to try something new, or an adult who’s always wanted to learn…having that individual time means we can go at your pace, focus on what you’d like to learn and take away any pressure to keep up with anyone else.

Some people come along as complete beginners, others want help with a particular stitch or project, and some just need a little extra support to build their confidence.

Every lesson looks a little different, and that’s exactly how I like it!

If you’ve been thinking about learning to crochet, or you’d love to book a session for your child, I offer 1:1 lessons in a relaxed, friendly space, with plenty of time to learn, practise and enjoy the process.

Pop me a message or head to the Sweet Stitches by Fay website to find out more. 💗

AHHHHHH! 🥹🎄🧶

I HAVE JUST FINISHED THE LAST EDIT ON MY CHRISTMAS ADVENT CALENDAR PATTERNS!! 😭❤️

This has been a HUGE undertaking, and tonight they’re heading off to my testers! I honestly cannot wait for you all to see what I’ve been working on, and I’m so excited to get it uploaded to the website so you can get your hands on it! ✨

But what actually IS a crochet advent calendar? 👀

Think of it like your traditional chocolate advent calendar, but instead of opening a little door to find chocolate, you’ll wake up to a brand-new crochet pattern waiting in your inbox! 🎄

🧶 24 individual Christmas crochet patterns
📩 A new PDF delivered to your email every day
🎁 One purchase for the whole calendar
✨ Step-by-step written instructions in plain English, with no crochet jargon!

I’ve designed this with beginners in mind, so if you’ve always wanted to give crochet a go, this could be the perfect place to start! But whether you’re a complete beginner or have been crocheting for years, there’s something lovely about making a little collection of Christmas decorations and characters throughout December. ❤️

You’ll be able to cosy up with your yarn, make yourself a nice drink and enjoy a little bit of creative time each day in the run-up to Christmas. 🥹☕️

And because I know you’re going to want to get your hands on it early, there’ll be a special EARLY BIRD OFFER before the full launch! 👀🎁

Want a sneak peek and early access as soon as the early bird offer goes live?

👇 COMMENT ADVENT CALENDAR BELOW and I’ll make sure you’re on the list!

I genuinely cannot believe I’m at this stage. So much planning, designing, writing, making and editing has gone into this little project, and I am SO excited to finally start sharing it with you all! ❤️

Who’s joining me for a crafty Christmas? 🎄🧶✨

🧶 YOU ASKED AND I DELIVERED! 🧶

Sweet Stitches by Fay is launching AFTER-SCHOOL SESSIONS! 🎉

I’m so excited to be bringing crochet to Clip ‘n Climb & Soft Play Colchester for a brand-new trial session, and I really hope it’s the start of something lovely!

Sometimes you don’t need a whole afternoon to try something new. You just need a little pocket of time to slow down, get creative and do something different.

That’s exactly what these sessions are all about!

🧶 AFTER-SCHOOL CROCHET

📅 Wednesday 21st October
⏰ 4–5pm
📍 Clip ’n Climb Colchester
👧🧒 For children and teens
💷 £14 per child, including all materials

✨ Complete beginners are absolutely welcome!
✨ All materials are provided.
✨ Everyone gets to take their crochet creation home.
✨ Optional crochet starter kits will be available if they’d like to carry on creating at home.

🍕 Fancy making an evening of it? Children can add pizza afterwards - just order on arrival!

These sessions are designed to be a perfect little bite-sized activity. Just one hour, fitting neatly into that often-awkward gap between the school run and dinner time!

It’s an opportunity to try something new, learn a skill, build confidence and enjoy some screen-free creativity without committing to a longer block of lessons.

And because this is a TRIAL SESSION, if it proves popular, I’d love to make after-school crochet a regular addition to the Sweet Stitches by Fay diary! 🥹

So, if your child or teen fancies giving crochet a go, this could be the perfect place to start.

🧶 Spaces are limited, and booking is essential.

Who’s joining me for our very first after-school session? 💛

Immediate cuteness from anything in miniature form 🥹🌱

These little potted plushy plants were made as a little thank you gifts, and… I think I need to make more!

The plant that never dies, never needs watering and is the perfect little companion for anyone who can only give their plants the absolute minimum amount of love and care… 😂🪴

Tiny, cute and completely maintenance-free. What more could you want? 💚
