BBQ Ban in Effect ⚠️ Please Read

We’ve just received confirmation from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service that the use of BBQs is banned on our site with immediate effect.

We appreciate that this may be disappointing, especially if you had planned to enjoy a BBQ during the event. However, with the current extreme heat and increased risk of fires, the safety of everyone attending, our local community, and our emergency services has to come first.

The UK Government has also issued a national warning asking people to limit the use of anything that could cause fires, and local authorities have specifically requested that BBQs are not used at this event.

The Government’s advice is:

“During this period of extreme heat, we are asking people to take simple steps to limit the risk of further fires. By following the safety guidance, everyone can play their part in protecting local communities and supporting our frontline services who are working around the clock to keep people safe.”

Please do not bring or use a BBQ on site. This applies to all types of BBQs

We know this isn’t ideal, and we really appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation. This decision has been made for safety reasons and is outside of our control.

The Site will open at 8am on Friday for all weekend customers to access the campsites and caravan parks.

NO FESTIVAL CUSTOMERS CAN ACCESS THE SITE VIA THE CATTOWS FARM SHOP ENTRANCE.

For those staying in the Weekend Campsite with your own tents
Please use the entrance on Heather Lane.

This is a large field with the large wind turbine at the entrance.

We strongly advise you download the free app What3Words and enter the code: access.anthemes.acted

This will bring you directly to the entrance. There will also be signs on the road and staff to guide you to a parking space.

⛺️ Glamping customers should also use this entrance on Heather Lane.

📍 Pick-up and drop-off should also use this entrance on Heather Lane.

🚕 Taxis should also use this entrance. Please make sure your taxi driver enters the site and uses the designated safe drop-off area.

DO NOT GET DROPPED OFF ON THE MAIN ROAD!

🚐 Caravan / Motorhome Customers

Please use the entrance on Swepstone Road. This is a few metres down from the farm shop entrance. Please do not enter via the farm shop, as there is no access to the event from there.

There will be signs and a steward on the road to guide you to the correct entrance.

We strongly advise you download the free app What3Words and enter the code: drank.enrolling.rocks

Our staff will then guide you to your caravan pitch.

Please follow the traffic team's instructions on site, as they are there to speed up your arrival and get you into the festival safely and efficiently.
