Thursday nights in Clitheroe are becoming a bit of a favourite.

Brews, biscuits, catch-ups, old friends, new faces and then, eventually…we do some singing. 😂

What a fabulous community we’ve created. Already looking forward to next Thursday! 🎶

P.S. The mug is empty because I’d already drunk my brew.

Warm up with us 🎶

To get our vocal cords moving at each practice, we sing a four-part round, with our Sopranos, Mezzos, Altos and Basses each starting with a different song: When the Saints Go Marching In, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, I Wanna Sing, Sing, Sing, and She’ll Be Coming ’Round the Mountain.

Oh, it’s SO good to be back! The world is healing.

Our Autumn/Winter term kicked off with a bang last night. With a full house, familiar faces, new faces, and of course, plenty of singing!

To honour the one and only Dolly Parton, we couldn’t resist a little karaoke-style 9 to 5 to start the term, led by our honorary choir member, Maisie Riley with Choir Leader Gaynor Sutcliffe on piano & Choir Director Peter Riley on guitar.

And we’re not hanging around… our first performance of the new term is TOMORROW at Whalley Day! Whalley & District Lions Club. See you at 2pm at Whalley Abbey. 🎶
