No ‘Big Switch On’ or children’s entertainment....

For the past twenty years, Clare town has been beautifully lit up over the festive season, made possible by the Clare Christmas Light Committee. Along with the generous donations from local businesses and residents, and initially with support from the Town Council, we have been able to successfully hold the ‘Big Switch On’ event year after year a

nd keep our much admired Christmas Lights sparkling. To make sure we keep this time honoured tradition, we hold a number of fund raising events throughout the year. Details of these events will be well publicised, so look for the posters around town. We also place collection pots around the shops of Clare from late September, and any loose change you have will be gratefully received!
