Jacquie Alexander plays adult Helen

I came to musical theatre later than most, after years devoted to raising my family and building a career—but the stage was always waiting.

In the past three years, I’ve thrown myself wholeheartedly into performance, seizing every opportunity to learn, grow, and tell stories. I’ve appeared with Dalgety Players in The Wizard of Oz and lent my voice to the choir of High School Musical. With Rosyth Musical Society, I’ve stepped into the vibrant worlds of Little Shop of Horrors and, most recently, Footloose.

Beyond the stage, I’ve embraced the thrill of live performance through cabaret nights and for a short time, as part of a 60s, 70s and 80s cover band—each experience deepening my passion for music and connection with an audience.

Now, I take an exciting new step onto the Fringe stage as the elder Helen.
It’s a moment that feels both long-awaited and entirely new—and I cannot wait to begin.

Aaron Rickman plays John Lennon

Aaron is 15 and from Inverkeithing, Fife.
He is a self taught guitarist and singer who also writes his own music.

As a budding busker, Aaron can often be found performing in and around Edinburgh.

This is Aaron’s first year with Kingdom Theatre Company, and his first year at the Fringe. Although Aaron has always wanted to be on stage, appearing as John Lennon will be his on-stage debut performance.

This is a dream come true for Aaron as The Beatles are his favourite band (alongside Simon & Garfunkel and Queen) and he is delighted to be performing such a well known Beatles song live on stage.

Lily B Martin plays schoolgirl Helen Shapiro

Lily is a 15 year old performer who attends Dunfermline High School, Fife.
She has been studying musical theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on their Junior Musical Theatre course and previously, their RCS Short Courses. She recently played Madame Thénardíer in Les Miserables with a Junior Conservatoire Collaborative Project, working alongside the Cameron Mackintosh Music team in a concert at the Stevenson Concert Hall, Glasgow.

This year, she has been volunteering as a teaching assistant at Pirrie Performing Arts, giving back to a company she’s been training with for 8 years and credits with igniting her passion for musical theatre. Lily played Miss Honey in their Easter sharing of Matilda and is also refining her jazz technical skills with Pirrie. And because down-time is over-rated, Lily has also embarked on piano lessons!

Lily has performed in musicals including: Chicago, Legally Blonde, Fame, Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz, Matilda, High School Musical, Seussical and many more.

Lily has been a member of local theatre companies in her area too, including: Limelight Carnegie Youth Theatre and Dalgety Players. Lily joined the cast of Movies to Musicals and performed with them in Glasgow and London for A Night of Musical Theatre Magic featuring guest artists such as Jenna Innes, Dom Simpson and Ryan Kopel.

This October, with Movies to Musicals, Lily will be in in Legally Blonde again—this time playing her dream role of Paulette Bonafonté.
When not rehearsing or performing, Lily enjoys scrapbooking and painting.

This is Lily’s third year at Edinburgh Fringe with Kingdom Theatre, and third year at Greenside, where she loves telling Helen’s story to delighted audiences, and she hopes you enjoy Walkin’ Back to the 60s!
