1 in 12 Club Zine out now! Spiritual home of Witchknot in the 90's and Baba Yaga in the 2000's. Without this great venue, rehearsal space and it's supportive atmosphere our bands, gigs, riot grrrl workshops and everything would have been that much harder to get going, especially after we had kids. Liberty, Equality and Solidarity folks, now more than ever. Big love and respect to everyone involved Xx

We’re thrilled to finally share what we’ve been working on for the past year!
Our project At The 1 in 12 Club uncovers a remarkable story of liberty, equality and solidarity at the heart of Bradford’s radical history.
Born in 1981 from the Claimants Union, the 1 in 12 Club grew from a self-managed social centre for the city’s unemployed into a thriving hub of DIY culture, rooted in anarchist principles of co-operation and mutual aid. Exploring that legacy has been truly inspiring.
Over the past year we’ve worked with an incredible group of volunteers to record oral histories and digitise decades of ephemera. The results?
