After the post yesterday, I feel a more positive post coming on! I am absolutely blown away by the support and love shown to us today. The video had 5.6K views and it seemed nearly that amount visited us today 😂. Yes, we had to close again for a while which was far from ideal but the hole has now been filled in. It was a day of making connections and people lingering and chatting together. Conversations took place about new craft group opportunities and a potential new space we could use. Thank you everyone, love from a much less grumpy Christa x ps special rose grown by one of my friends... # sew

Today hasn't been the best. After 10 weeks of roadworks, this was the scene from my desk today. I don't think I have ever put up a whinging post before but today I feel I need to share what I am up against. I also don't mind sharing that I cried in the loo which was ok as nobody could get in to see me! I also couldn't get out. I don't think I'm being unreasonable in thinking that this should have been done when I'm not trading? It's tough for our small businesses as it is without this. Thank you to one of our lovely town councillors who listened and made calls...you know who you are! Please don't let this put you off visiting me, I'll get you in! All the other little indies in Church St. are open too. We are building a great community but we need YOU more than ever. Thank you for reading my rant if you got this far 😘. I'm now snuggled up with my furry friend. He just understands!

This was just what I needed after a traipse around Salisbury with a dog who acted like he needed a wee but actually didn't! He has to find the perfect spot....I do like a sticker on my drink as it makes me feel special and joking aside safe! thank you.

Exciting News from Little Button Jar!
With immediate effect, our summer opening hours will be:
🧵 Monday–Friday: 9am–2pm
🧵 Saturday: 10am–3pm

By slightly changing our shop hours, we'll be able to use the afternoons and evenings to hopefully run more craft groups, some workshops and creative events – bringing even more opportunities to learn, make and connect together.

It feels especially fitting because tomorrow marks one whole year since we got the keys to our new Church Street shop. When we first walked through the door, creating a welcoming creative space that could host classes and groups was always part of the dream.

A year later, thanks to your support, encouragement and loyalty, we're finally able to take this next step. Special thanks too must go to Nicola and Mel and of course Ben, the best sleeping Company Director!

Thank you for being part of the journey so far – we can't wait to share what's coming next! ❤️

Today we have sold so much squishy yarn so it was just as well we had this huge delivery of Chenille Chunky from StyleCraft. It's beautiful and there are some fabulous patterns to go with it including one for a Capybara Squishy 😂.
