Today marks 82 years since D-Day, when thousands of brave soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy, facing the unknown with extraordinary courage and sacrifice. Many stepped into unimaginable danger, not knowing what awaited them, but driven by duty and the hope of a better future. We remember their bravery, honor those who gave their lives, and remain grateful for the freedom their sacrifice helped secure. Lest we forget.

Today, three Royal Navy personnel tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash during a training exercise in Devon. Their dedication and service to the nation will not be forgotten, and our thoughts are with their families, friends, and colleagues at this difficult time.

A huge thank you to everyone at Simonsbath Festival for inviting the Chivenor Military Ladies Choir to perform at your wonderful festival last night. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the evening.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the support from the audience was incredible, and we loved being part of such a special community event. A particular highlight was dancing down the aisle together – what a memorable and joyful moment!
Thank you for your warm hospitality and for making us feel so valued. We are grateful to have been part of such a lovely occasion and hope to see you all again in the future.
